Support HHUGS
HHUGS (Helping Households Under Great Stress) is a UK charity dedicated to supporting families affected by national security, and extremism-related legislation. Since 2004, we have stood beside families facing some of the most challenging circumstances imaginable, providing practical assistance, emotional support, and hope when it is needed most. When a loved one is arrested, detained, or investigated, entire families can be left struggling with financial hardship, emotional trauma, social isolation, and uncertainty about the future. HHUGS works to ensure that these families do not face those challenges alone. We provide tailored support including financial assistance, food support, educational scholarships, pastoral care, family activities, transport assistance, and one-to-one emotional support.
Why We Need Your Help
Every donation directly helps vulnerable families rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence. Your support enables us to:

Provide emergency financial assistance to families in crisis.

Deliver food parcels, vouchers, and essential household support.

Fund educational opportunities and youth development programmes.

Organise family events, Eid celebrations, and community activities.

Offer emotional support to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.

Empower families to become resilient, independent, and connected to wider support networks.

Looking Ahead
Our vision is a society where no family impacted by national security measures suffers in silence, shame, or isolation. We are committed to restoring hope, preserving dignity, and creating opportunities for families to thrive despite the challenges they face. With your support, we can continue expanding our services and reaching more families across the UK.
Make a Difference Today
Whether your donation is large or small, it helps provide practical relief, emotional support, and renewed hope to families facing extraordinary difficulties. Together, we can ensure that no family is left to struggle alone. Donate today and help us restore dignity, strengthen families, and build brighter futures.
