Helping Households Under Great Stress (HHUGS) is a UK registered charity that exists to provide financial, emotional, and practical support and advice to Muslim households impacted by national security legislations, policies and procedures, in the UK and abroad.

Since 2004, we have stood beside families facing some of the most challenging circumstances imaginable, providing practical assistance, emotional support, and hope when it is needed most. When a loved one is arrested, detained, or investigated, entire families can be left struggling with financial hardship, emotional trauma, social isolation, and uncertainty about the future. HHUGS works to ensure that these families do not face those challenges alone.
